I believe an easy rapport and genuine respect for one another are the basis for a successful teacher/student relationship. Students of piano could potentially study with the same teacher for 10 years. Our initial lesson will be more “meet and greet” in nature, giving you an opportunity to interview me and myself a chance to audition the prospective student.  The audition allows me to place the student in appropriate books;  it is not an assessment of talent. Talent is great, but ultimately a successful musician is one who’s developed a skill set that far surpasses their inherent talent.
